This bison quilt is my nod to an American icon. Living in Wyoming, and so near Yellowstone National Park, I have had numerous opportunities to watch these magnificent creatures roam the land, and it never fails to impress.

The bison is made from 2 yd of assorted prints, which makes it jellyroll and layer cake friendly.

Finished Quilt Size: 70″ x 54″

Finished Block Size: 8″

Bonus Pattern: 18″ pillow made from the scraps and additional background fabric.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Techniques: Improv Piecing, Machine Applique
